Pet Sitter House Minder, LLC
Services
I am currently without a car. There are times when I will have access to borrowed or rented vehicle, but not always. Temporarily, for those times when I do not have access to a borrowed or rented vehicle, some stayover sits will be asked to leave an automatic transmission vehicle in the event that emergency pet transportation is needed.
If over 20 years in pet sitting have taught me anything, it’s this: Not all vet visits are scheduled in advance! This is why I want the ability to make an emergency run if I have to. Once I get my new SUV, this will no longer be an issue.
In the meantime, there will be a 20% discount on stayover pet sits where a car is left for emergencies by way of thanks for the availability of the vehicle. The vehicle will have a full tank of gas when you arrive home, ALWAYS, regardless of what was in the tank when I arrived. Thank you all for understanding!
2023 Services and Pricing List
When it comes to taking care of animals, all my love goes into what I do. This is my heart and soul, and 20+ years of skills. I am bonded and insured, an active member of Pet Sitters International, and I will be renewing my lapsed PSI CPPS very soon. The paperwork may be behind, but the skills never leave. Payment plans are welcome.
Stop-ins, walks, dog park/trail excursions, vet/groomer/PT visits: $35/hour + tolls where applicable (walkies, litter changes, food, water top-off, playtime, love, everything!), 1/2 hour minimum. Driving time is charged in 15-minute increments.
Overnight Stays: $65/day to start. See more about special needs and high-risk sits below.
Special Needs Animals: $15/day/special needs patient surcharge (mobility issues involving lifting, epileptics, diabetics, post-op, pregnant, litters, cancer, FIV, serious separation anxiety/aggression issues, bloat prone, ME, etc.). I'm experienced in the following: Wound/sprain/fracture/post-op care for dogs, getting paralyzed dogs into their mobility gear, expressing bladders, pilling dogs and cats, oral syringe meds, subcutaneous and IM injections in dogs and cats, stomach tube feedings for dogs and cats, upright feeding for ME dogs and post-feeding monitoring for aspiration and regurgitation, deworming horses, prepping specialized diets (including raw), working with pill chemo for dogs and cats, seizure management and stabilization, puppy delivery, escaped bird recovery, rodent care, legal exotics, livestock, and more.
Hazard Pay: For extra-large dog breeds, unaltered male dogs, livestock, farm sits, etc., please get in touch! I grew up around mastiffs, akitas, bully breeds, and horses, and I am not skittish. The bigger the animals, the bigger the risk, and the more I'm worth. I do charge extra for certain situations. I'm happy to work with all species, and whatever your needs, we can work something out! I can muck a stall just as well as I can scoop a litterbox.
Extended and Overseas Stays: Contact me at [email protected] for details. If you're not in the U.S. but you'd like to hire someone with my credentials and experience, contact me! I travel well and have looked after expat animals for months on end in the Ecuadorian Andes.
Cleaning Services, Light Gardening, Laundromat Runs with Wash/Dry/Fold Service, Personal Shopping: $35/hour + tolls where applicable, 1/2 hour minimum. Driving time is charged in 15-minute increments.
Cooking/Catering: $35/hour/catering team member + $35/hour for commercial kitchen rental (unless you already have one ready) + supplies and ingredients. Many times it's just me, but I have brilliant cooks and servers I work with for bigger events. Driving time is charged in 15-minute increments.
Once your pet sit is officially scheduled, an up-front, 10% deposit is required within a week of scheduling.
The deposit is non-refundable. You can either choose to have it credited towards future services for you, or you can have me set it aside for the low-income, fixed-income emergency sits for the elderly and disabled. Just let me know which you would prefer, and we'll make it happen! If the deposit isn't in within a week of scheduling, the dates will be opened up for booking.
