Britain's own www.laminitis.org has been working to end this dreadful disease since 1998. With their dedication and research into the role of diet in the development of laminitis, great strides are being made in preventing laminitis altogether, as well as improving the quality of life for horses who have it. They're also doing wonderful work with Cushing's Disease. Learn more about laminitis by visiting www.laminitis.org.
Dynamite comes in small packages! This awesome little monster is one of my all-time favorites. She's loads of fun around the farm. Great company when you're rounding up the horses, and great company on the couch for cuddles. She's also a bit of a paradox. She's clever enough to catch her own fish in the pond for a snack, but she still falls for the old Congo-Grey-making-a-noise-like-her-squeaky-toy trick. Every time. The bird makes a noise just like her toy, and she comes running, looking for it. Gotta love her!
